   Leonid Belenitsky is a State of New Jersey licensed acupuncturist and is a nationally certified acupuncturist through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He received her Masters of Science degree from Eastern School in Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in New Jersey where he studied acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, and Japanese Stale of Acupuncture by Kiiko Matsumoto. 

   His undergraduate education was in Soviet Union (USSR, Ukraine, Kharkov) with 5 full years Engineering program (1980-1985). After he got another degree in State University (Ukraine, Kharkov) 1994-1996. After coming to USA during 1998, Leonid went through Education Service Evaluation (New York, NY) which recognize his level of education (by program credits/hours) like Bachelor and Master in Engineering and Master of Science in Psychology.

    Also Leonid Belenitsky has Massage Therapy Certificates (1988) from Hospital #27 (Kharkov, Ukraine) and Personal Trainer Certificate with Sports Massage Certification (1989) from Physical Cultural University (Kharkov, Ukraine). Plus: Raja Yoga practice since 1978; Raja and Karma Yoga education with Certification of 1880 hours (1984-1994); Ha-Tha - Raja - Karma yoga teaching experience since 1986 (3000 students).

I started my study of Acupuncture in 1996 in Ukraine, with Professor Yarotskaya, MD., PhD, Kharkov post graduate Medical University, Ukraine.
Graduated from Eastern School of Acupuncture, NJ in 2009. Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM) in 2010.
New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners Certified in Acupuncture in 2010.

But it’s just part of my acupuncture history. My history as a professional Healer is much longer:
1986 – started to help people in my local community (in Kharkov, Ukraine) with Yoga Therapeutic exercise for Lower Back pain, Constipation, Anxiety.
1988 – started practicing Therapeutic Massage for Neck pain and Lower Back pain.
1989 – started practicing Sports Massage, used to work for many Boxers.
1990-1998 – Director and Founder of Yoga Pedagogic Institute (Kharkov, Ukraine).
1990-1992 – Dean of faculty at Academy of Yoga (Kharkov, Ukraine).
1993-1994 – Vise President of Academy of Yoga (Kharkov, Ukraine).

I can. I used to work with a NHL player, three times STANLEY CUP Championship winner (1995, 2000, 2003) for over 10 years (2000 – 2010).
Other NHL players I worked with for 3-4 years.

For many years I worked as a personal Massage Therapist for Russian Ice Hockey Defense-man, OLYMPIC GOLD WINNER (1984, 1988), silver (1980), five times GOLD WINNER in WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP (1981, 1982, 1983, 1986, 1989).
I used to treat, for many years, a family of minor co-owners of Yankees team (2003 – 2008).
